Our Story

Mokosh Herbs began as a dream and a deep connection to the healing power of plants.

Deb’s journey with herbs started in high school, where she first discovered her love for the natural world. For more than 50 years, she has learned from, worked with, and honored plants in all their wisdom and beauty.

Today, on our 150-year-old, three-acre farm just east of Madison, Wisconsin, we grow and forage many of the herbs we offer. Those we can’t grow ourselves come from trusted partners who share our commitment to quality, sustainability, and respect for the Earth.

At Mokosh Herbs, everything we do is rooted in love: for the land, the plants, and the people who use them.
